Please be advised after 45 years of practicing medicine, we will be closing our practice on August 30, 2024. We will be available until then for all of your orthopaedic care needs.

For more than 40 years, Orthopaedic Specialists of Metropolitan Washington (OSMW) has provided leading edge, full service orthopaedic care to the citizens of Montgomery County, Maryland, and the surrounding metropolitan area.

Dr. Jeffrey Abend and Dr. Christopher Magee will be retiring. However, we are referring patients to Dr. Zohair Alam who will be joining Montgomery Orthopaedics Division, and Dr. Steven Blackner who will be joining Summit Orthopaedics Division. We are confident that you will be in excellent hands with our CAO network of providers.
